Yellowstone's spendor in winter subject of free film

MERCER, PA.

Mercer County Conservation District will host a free movie night Jan. 22 from 6:30 to 8 p.m., showing “Silence and Solitude: Yellowstone’s Winter Wilderness.”

The film highlights the splendor and bitter cold of Yellowstone in winter with rarely seen footage.

The film will be shown in the Pig Barn at Munnell Run Farm, 753 Greenville Road.

Drinks and fresh popcorn will be available. All donations received for refreshments will go towards future environmental education programs.

Participants must pre-register by Jan. 21 by calling Jacqueline McCullough at 724-662- 2242.
