New Castle men indicted on drug charges

Two New Castle, Pa., men were indicted on drug charges Wednesday by a federal grand jury.

David J. Stouffer, 36, of West Winter Avenue and Robert Yakubik, 41, of Erie Street are accused of conspiring with others to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute oxycodone from 2011 to November 2012.

Additionally, Yakubik possessed with intent to distribute — and did distribute — oxycodone on several dates in April, May, August and September 2012, the indictment says.

Each man could get more than 20 years in prison if convicted. The Drug Enforcement Administration and New Castle police conducted the investigation.
