Blessed Sacrament Parish, 3020 Reeves Road NE, Warren, will sponsor a Casino Night and Texas Hold ’Em tournament Feb. 8. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the tournament begins at 5:30. Early registration is available at the parish now through Feb. 6. A $50 buy-in by then receives a bonus $200 in chips in addition to the $1,300 in chips with regular registration. St. Rose School, 61 E. Main St., Girard, is sponsoring a festival-style bingo fundraiser Friday, which will benefit the eighth-graders’ trip to Washington, D.C. Doors will open at 5 p.m., and games will take place from 6 to 10. Walk-ins are welcome. A 50-50 raffle, lottery basket and door prizes are planned. Food will be served.


St. Andrewes AME Church Fundraiser Alliance is offering a guided tour of Lancaster, Pa., and Amish country from April 7 through 10. The cost is $365 for a prepaid double occupancy that will include three nights, six meals and tickets to “Moses” at the Sight and Sound Theater. Other features will be visits to Kitchen Kettle Village, Landis Valley Museum and Village, the Flight 93 Memorial and Hershey’s Chocolate World. The tour will depart from Youngstown. Trumbull County Travel Club will kick off the 2014 season with its annual wine trip on a Saturday. Open to the public, the trip includes a stop a Harry London’s Chocolate, lunch at 356th Fighter Group and wine tastes at Gervasi Vineyard & Bistro, Gateway Winery and Perennial Vineyard, where there will be pizza specials. All passengers must be 21 or older. The motorcoach will depart from the Kmart parking lot in Niles. A slide show for the Coastal New England tour to Maine is scheduled, and the date of this viewing will be included in the packet. The trip is by motorcoach from Sept. 29 through Oct. 5. The cost is $1299 per person with a $150 deposit due March 1. Trumbull County Travel Club meets twice a year to plan their outings. There are no membership fees, but one must be 21 or older to travel with the club.
