Tea Party candidate’s running mate has history of financial woes

YOUNGSTOWN — Brenda L. Mack of Canfield — the running mate of a former state tea party leader challenging incumbent Gov. John Kasich in the Republican primary — has a history of financial problems.

Mack’s problems include a 2002 Chapter 13 personal bankruptcy filing, a 2008 Chapter 7 bankruptcy of a cleaning business she owned with the company owing more than $100,000 to various creditors, failure to pay about $20,000 in state taxes, and a 2002 conviction in Mahoning County Court in Boardman for passing bad checks that included a 180-day suspended jail sentence.

Hypocricy at it's best. Tea party preaches fiscal responsibility, and this is who they pick? I think it was also a typical "pick a token black person, any token black person, to show that we aren't really racist" scenario!!!

If she's a member of the Tea Party run with a T after your name.....media caves to these nuts and allows them credibility by association with an actual party

and the TPers don't have the guts to run without their hands being held

TEA PARTY will not have much traction to run on in a primary. Kasich like him or not is the "R's candidate. They would be better off entering a primary as a "D"

From the sounds of this candidate, maybe they need to start looking more at quality and what the party stands for! Sounds like she got a lot of free handouts in the form of unpaid loans and taxes! Wait.....AND A CRIMINAL OFFENSE! But of course you won't comment on her character.

Always got to get Obama into it when there is no defense! Do you like this lady as a republican candidate or not? Is she a good candidate? Any intellectual points would be fine if it deals with the subject.
