Homeless man faces drug charges after arrest in Ausintown

AUSTINTOWN — A homeless man faces arraignment Jan. 13 in county court here on four warrants for drug-related crimes.

Township police arrested David Bidwell, 35, who told them he was homeless, after a traffic stop Wednesday.

He was arrested for a warrant out of Newton Falls Municipal Court for illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, and he had three warrants in Summit County Common Pleas Court for illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals to manufacture drugs and aggravated possession of drugs.

All of the charges are felony offenses.
