Youngstown man faces drug charges after arrest in Boardman

BOARDMAN — Just after 12:30 a.m. today, township police arrested an 18-year-old Youngstown man for possession of prescription medication.

Desmond McElroy of Chapel Hill Drive is charged with two counts of drug abuse. One count is labeled as a fifth-degree felony and the other a first-degree misdemeanor.

Police stopped McElroy on Market Street because of a license suspension on the vehicle’s owner.
