What: Join Jeff Harvey of Wild Birds Unlimited to watch feathered friends at feeders while sipping a cup of joe.

March in to the Sky

When: Saturday, 7-10 p.m.

What: Mahoning Valley Astronomical Society and MetroParks’ Recreation Department “star party.” View night sky through high-powered telescopes. Galaxies, star clusters, double stars, nebulae and Jupiter will be in sight. Brief presentation follows to discuss objects viewed through scopes. Children’s craft and refreshments provided.

Orchid Walk-About

What: Dave Miller of Greater Akron Orchid Society leads orchid walk highlighting main varieties of orchids throughout Davis Center. Bring your orchid questions or actual orchid to be diagnosed.
