Staff report

The Rev. J. Jeffrey Baker will be installed Sunday as rector of Christ Episcopal Church, 2627 Atlantic St. NE.

The Right Rev. Mark Hollingsworth Jr., bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio, will conduct the installation at the 11 a.m. service.

In his position as priest-in-charge at Christ Episcopal, the church hosts community housing, Earth Cub Scouts, SOLACE, Diva Donations and Great Expectations Learning Center.

Other community celebrations include a Medieval Festival, a holiday Lessons and Carols, pet celebration and Beatles Mass.

Father Baker has been married for 24 years to Kristine M. Baker, who is employed by the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as an athletic trainer certified at Point Park University. They have two daughters.
