As Syria threat expands, Obama mulls options

WASHINGTON (AP) — For the United States, Syria’s civil war is threatening to start hitting closer to home. Peace talks between the Syrian government and opposition are faltering. President Bashar Assad’s military is on the offensive and the rebels are in disarray. Most distressing to the Obama administration, U.S. officials say al-Qaida-linked militants are squeezing moderates out of the insurgency and carving out havens for potential terrorist plots against the United States.

Stay out of Syria and stop covertly supporting the terrorist foreign mercenaries shooting for regime change there. Let Syrians take care of their own problems without US interference and, most certainly, without US military involvement. We The People are sick and tired of all these wars without end.

Attis, I have to agree that war is wearing on all of us. This man is committing genocide on his own people. The UN should get involved and stop putting all the expense, burden and debt on the USofA. We are not the only nation that finds this situation to be of concern. What concerns me more is this same behavior is excepted by our gooberment in Israel and many African nations. What makes one nations crimes against humanity less offensive than another nations?
