Austintown Senior Center, 100 Westchester Drive, has planned the following: Monday, active exercise at 8 a.m., trip to Middefield Amish at 9, 30 minutes with God, and bingo, both at 10, painting class at 10:15, beginner computer class at 10:30, senior spinning at 11, OSHIP social worker and fall prevention seminar at 11:30, and advanced computer class, grief recovery and bag lunch at noon; Tuesday, active exercise at 8 a.m., myths of nutrition class at 9, bingo at 10, line dancing at 11, quilting and cooking class at 11:30, chair yoga and bag lunch at noon, conversational Spanish at 12:30 p.m. and AARP Notables at 1; Wednesday, active exercise at 8 a.m., 30 minutes with God at 9, bingo at 10, jewelry making class at 11:30, tai-chi and pizza party ($3) at noon and living wills and healthcare power of attorney seminar at 1 p.m.; Thursday, active exercise at 8 a.m., wood carving and Greece and Turkey class at 9, chair yoga at 9:15, SOS at 9:30, intermediate computer class at 10, beginner crochet at 11, and lunch and grocery bingo ($5) at noon; and Friday, active exercise at 8 a.m., comparative religion at 9, bingo and discussion group at 10, senior spinning at noon and women’s pajama party at 7 p.m. For information call 330-953-1416 or visit www.austintownseniorcenter.webs.com.

Guardian Angels of Ohio, a volunteer guardianship program of Trumbull County Probate Court, is looking for volunteers. Angel volunteers receive training to become advocates who reach out as friends to seniors who may need a friendly phone call, a visit in a nursing home or a visit at home. They also are involved in planning special events for seniors such as health fairs and Make a Difference Day projects. Senior Independence Senior Center of Mahoning County, 1110 Fifth Ave., has planned the following: Monday, income tax filing at 9 a.m., needlecraft at 10, bridge at 1 p.m. and Drums Alive at 2:30 p.m.; Tuesday, New Middletown Fun Day and arts and crafts at 10 a.m. and beginner and intermediate bridge at noon; Wednesday, Lake Milton Fun Day and watercolors at 10 a.m., tap class at noon, 500 card club at 1 p.m. and line dancing at 1:30; Thursday, Watch Our Weight and woodcarvers at 9 a.m., Boardman Fun Day and computer classes at 10 and noon, exercise at noon and Texas Hold’em and advanced computer at 2 p.m.; and Friday, income tax filing at 9 a.m., Sebring Fun Day and Wii bowling at 10, card and board games at noon, movie matinee at 1 p.m. and cornhole at 2.
