Guardian Angels of Ohio, a volunteer guardianship program of Trumbull County Probate Court, is looking for volunteers. They will receive training to become advocates who reach out as friends to seniors who may need a friendly phone call, a visit in a nursing home or a visit at home. Angels volunteers also are involved in planning special events for seniors such as health fairs and Make a Difference Day projects. Trumbull County Senior Court AARP Driver’s Safety Program offers a certified instructor to provide a review of driving skills and techniques as well as strategies to help seniors adjust to physical changes that may affect their driving ability.
