Society to sponsor archeology exhibit

NEW CASTLE, PA.

King Beaver Archaeological Society is sponsoring an Indian Relic Exhibition from noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 7 at the Lawrence County Historical Society, 408 N. Jefferson St.

Visitors are welcome to take arrowheads, stone tools and other prehistoric artifacts to the show for identification, evaluation and appraisal. The items on exhibition will be for display only.

The King Beaver club is a chapter of the Archaeological Society of Ohio. Members will discuss North American prehistory with visitors.
