Perhaps save our country can explain ,the difference between public and private.

Or not.

wolfruns question is pertinent and en pointe. With the current leadership at mcp, no answer will be deemed necessary, or forthcoming.

They need to close, but not for a day. More like a month to fix the place up. The course is in the worst condition I've seen in 30 years. Starts with the drive in via the pothole strewn road. Then the course is a swamp. Even the North, which used to be ok, is filled with standing water. Then there's the ridiculous driving range balls that litter the 10th and 18th holes on the North. The course is an embarrassment yet once it was a jewel.

This statement about the course being closed is just another example of inexperience on the part of the PR staff. They meant to say that there are no available tee times because the course is completely booked by this big tournament.

The pro shop, restaurant and other areas will be open as normal.

This is the same PR department that invited the media in to witness the gassing of the geese. Just plain dumb folks.
