Rodman Public Library, 215 E. Broadway St., Alliance, is having its annual sale through Thursday. Audio and videocassettes, computer software, records, CDs, books and magazines will be offered. The sale is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and Tuesday. On Wednesday, the sale begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 8 p.m. For members only, from 5 to 8 p.m. all of the books you can fit into a grocery bag are $1. Thursday is buck-a-bag for the public from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Salem Public Library’s used book sale will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul School gymnasium, 925 E. State St. The sale, sponsored by the Salem Public Library Memorial Fund Association, provides shoppers with a large variety of materials to choose from, including fiction and nonfiction regular and large-print books, children’s books, DVDs, magazines and more. Austintown Alumni Association is selling tickets for its annual raffle to raise funds for scholarships to Austintown Fitch 2015 graduates. First prize is $500, second prize is a basket of gift cards from local businesses worth at least $200, and third prize is a $50 dinner for two at Rachel’s Restaurant and flowers from Something Unique Florist. Tickets are $1 each or $5 for a book of six. The winning tickets will be drawn Aug. 29 at the Hall of Fame football game. Winners need not be present.
