Children: Lenore (Richard) Banks of Canfield, Diane (Ray) Matuz of Poland, and Carole Miller of Mount Juliet, Tenn. A son, Scott Miller, is deceased.

BACKGROUND

Education: Graduated from South High School in 1935.

Employment: Master plumber for C.R. Miller Plumbing and Heating Co. in Youngstown.

Memberships: Boardman Disciples of Christ Church. He recently was honored as a 75-year member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Union. He bowled in a league until he was 95. He is a Mason and member of Wick Lodge and belonged to Aut Mori Grotto.

Military service: U.S. Navy Seabees and served during World War II.

ADDITIONAL INTERESTS

Other interests: He played saxophone in local bands and had his own band, the Ray Scott Orchestra. He was on the board of Local 86 Musicians Union for many years.
