STRUTHERS — A full week after a pre-disciplinary conference spurred by allegations related to the “inappropriate conduct of a police officer,” Detective Ray Greenwood remains on a paid administrative leave.
His personnel file, however, reveals that this isn’t the first disciplinary action taken against him.
Greenwood, whose personnel file begins with his Feb. 22, 1996, employment application for the city’s police reserves, was placed on leave May 28. In an internal memo from the same day, Police Chief Tim Roddy recommends to Ed Wildes, the city’s safety-service director, that “in light of ... recent events ... the city request an evaluation of [Greenwood’s] fitness for duty.”
