Austintown Alumni Association is selling tickets for its annual raffle to raise funds for scholarships to Austintown Fitch 2015 graduates. First prize is $500, second prize is a basket of gift cards from local businesses worth at least $200; and third prize is a $50 dinner for two at Rachel’s Restaurant and flowers from Something Unique Florist. Tickets are $1 each or $5 for a book of six tickets. The winning tickets will be drawn Aug. 29 at the Hall of Fame football game. Winners need not be present. Helping Hands Closet at the Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has gently used and new clothing for the entire family each Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The month of August will feature a summer clearance with 50 percent off adult summer clothes and 25 percent off children’s summer clothes.

Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 550 N. Broad St., Canfield, will host a rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. There will be household goods, linens, glassware and dishes, holiday items, tools, books, games, puzzles, toys, collectibles and more. There will be a bake sale, and hot dogs, snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Use the front entrance of the church.

St. William Parish, 5431 Mahoning Ave. NW, Champion, is sponsoring a large rummage sale in its social hall and classrooms from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday (bag day). A lunch counter will be available.
