Most agree, however, that their work at the university is rewarding

Staff report

YOUNGSTOWN

Nearly 77 percent of Youngstown State University staff and 68 percent of full-time faculty surveyed

find their work rewarding, but 67 percent of full-time faculty and 55 percent of staff who answered the survey doubt university trustees’ ability to lead.

For the part-time faculty, 84 percent of those who answered the survey either agree or strongly agree that their work at YSU is a

Lets not forget the latest spending spree...
A cafeteria inside the football locker room to serve the players free food from the campus catering service... Reason given was "they need to eat"

gdog, more layoffs to come in the coming month while the 300 pound club continues their rain of ignorance. I'm sure that the reinforced heavy duty office chairs and their occupants will stay in place. I've heard some employees say that top middle management is a bigger problem than the trustees. I wonder how many VP's this president will hire? The university used to have two then their were three and now there is five. Soon to be 15 I'm sure.

Not surprising. They are a totally incompetent bunch. Cuts, cuts, cuts on the academic side, while the Athletics program budget increases each year. Millions on a president's mansion and now a Veteran's resource center that will be used by how many students exactly? And staffed how, while they continue to lay off employees?

YSU employees are free to leave and get a job in the real world, if they so desire. Then maybe they will see the extravagant benefits and retirement packages they currently receive.

They are a spoiled bunch, that's for sure.
