Pa. senator: Colo. trip included using legal weed

Published: Fri, August 1, 2014 @ 2:10 p.m.

HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) — A Pennsylvania state senator says he tried some marijuana on his taxpayer-funded trip to Colorado to see how the state’s marijuana industry is working.

Democratic Sen. Daylin Leach said today he took two hits from a vape pen, similar to an e-cigarette, at his hotel. He says it was the first time he had used marijuana in about 25 years.

A vape pen vaporizes a form of marijuana and is smokeless. He says it was a gift from a facility he and aides toured during the official trip, which cost nearly $5,000.

He says the legal weed caused him to giggle a bit through dinner.

Afterward, he says he did something unusual — he watched a romantic comedy on TV.

Leach is a leading proponent of legalizing marijuana in Pennsylvania.

Sounds like a typical demoncrat who likes smoking weed just like the fool in the WH. Time to vote out these smoke clouded minds once and for all. It must be nice to travel on the tax payer's dime and get to smoke some LEGAL weed
