ASSOCIATIONS

Guilford Lake Civic Association will have its first meeting of the year at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Guilford Ruritan Hall on Route 172. Payment for the flag program is due to Rita Gill, 33343 Baker Road, Lisbon, OH 44432. The cost is $25 for one flag and $45 for two. Contact Bob Gause for more than two and special pricing.

CLASSES

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1953 will meet for breakfast at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Johnny’s. Guests are welcome.

LIBRARY FRIENDS

Austintown Friends of the Library will meet at 10 a.m. April 28 at the library. Ralph Pfingsten, historian, will discuss the life and history of the Ravenna Arsenal.

LODGES

Croatian Fraternal Lodge 598 will meet at 12:45 p.m. Sunday in the community room at the post office building.

Girard Golden Eagles Lodge 642 will meet at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Amen Corner, Girard.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the parish house.

Youngstown South Christian Women’s Connection will present a program titled “Marvelous May” from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. May 14 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. The program will feature Just Cupcakes and More by Debbie, music by Rita Busin and “If the Shoe Fits” by speaker Leah Ball of Erie. SINGLES

D.A.R.E. Singles Group, which meets at Disciples Christian Church, 565 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman, has planned the following: 7 p.m. Tuesday, dance classes at Judy Conti’s in Austintown; 7 p.m. Wednesday, practice bowling night at Wedgewood Lanes; 7:30 p.m. Thursday, social night at the church; and 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, card night at Denny’s in Boardman.

SOCIETIES

Audubon Society Mahoning Valley invites the public to Sensational Migrations at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Mill Creek MetroParks Farm, 7574 Columbiana-Canfield Road, Canfield. For information send an email to ibwo69@gmail.com.

Mahoning County Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society will have its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Charles Church Ministry Building, 7325 Westview Drive, Boardman. Niles Historical Society will have its spring dinner Wednesday at Ciminero’s Banquet Center. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the sit-down dinner will be served at 6. Caregiver Support Group, which provides information and support for those in the Mahoning Valley who are caring for loved ones going through any disease process, will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday at Park Vista private dining room, 1216 Fifth Ave., Youngstown. Hope For a Better Tomorrow, a support group for those who suffer from chronic illnesses, will meet from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Liberty Public Library, 415 Church Hill-Hubbard Road.
