TV milestone


Believers Church Television, known as “The Pastor Joe Show,” will air its 500th episode on 21 WFMJ-TV at 11:30 a.m. Easter Sunday.

The show has been airing Pastor Joe Cameneti’s messages since 2003. Shows are from one of three weekend worship experiences at his church in Warren.

The 500th episode just so happens to fall on Easter Sunday.

City prayer planned


Pray for the City is from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesdays at Trinity United Methodist Church, 30 W. Front St., where the Rev. Jerry Krueger is pastor.

Church opening


Victory Christian Center will celebrate the opening of the Vienna Campus, 5000 Warren Sharon Road, with services at 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday and 7 p.m. Monday.

Senior Pastor David L. Thomas, who oversees the eight campuses of Victory Christian Center, will be guest speaker Sunday evening.

Harold Burgess, pastor at Vienna, will preach and lead the gatherings Sunday and Monday.

Last Supper drama


A “living” Last Supper will be presented at 8 p.m. Maundy Thursday at First United Presbyterian Church, 1009 W. Rebecca St.

Other churches participating are Centenary and Emmanuel United Methodist and New Life Outreach and Next Gen Youth Group of The Coffee Stop, all East Palestine; First Free Methodist in Canfled, Abundant Life Fellowship in New Waterford and Victory Christian Center in Coitsville.

Speakers planned


A Good Friday service at 7 p.m. at Christian Bible Baptist Church, 2369 Oak St. Ext., will feature speakers, Deacons Willie Oliver, Jeremy Potter and Nate Napier, and Elmer Luke, David Bryant, Roy Morrison and Dave Dunleavey.

Master of ceremony is Jake Giuriceo, and Keith A. Neal is pastor.

Easter Sunday sunrise service will take place at 7 p.m.

Special service


A New Orleans-style worship service will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday at 140 E. Church St., to remember the loss of the bike path and those harmed by toxic trespass.

Presiding will be the Rev. Monica Beasley-Martin.

Defenders of the Earth Outreach Mission, Frackfree America National Coalition and Frackfree Mahoning will participate.

Christians in Action


Hubbard Christians In Action will meet for the monthly community prayer at noon Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church, 111 Hall Ave.

New music minister


Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, 351 W. Rayen Ave., has a new minister of music, Wilburt Ervin, for Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m.
