Women’s conference

The “Woman Be Thou Made Whole Conference 2014” will be presented by Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church, 351 W. Rayen Ave., on July 11. The theme is “Wholeness, Mind, Body and Soul.”

Guest speaker at 1 p.m. will be evangelist Sheila Jones, Women of Truth Ministries, Pickerington, Ohio. At 7 p.m., evangelist Krista M. Dawkins-Tyson of Mount Calvary Pentecostal Church will speak.

Admission is free. Preferred seating registration is available by calling the church at 330-747-7082 by May 16. There is a fee for preferred seating.

Mission at church

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Dramatist Mark Price will speak at St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., at Masses at 5 p.m. today and 8 and 11 a.m. Sunday.

He will portray St. Joseph at 7 p.m. Monday and St. Francis of Assisi at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Easter Walk

BOARDMAN

Good Hope Lutheran Church, 98 Homestead Drive, will present an Easter Walk from 2 to 3:30 p.m. next Saturday with faith discovery stations.

The event is geared to children up to sixth grade. An Easter egg hunt will follow.

Steps to cross

YOUNGSTOWN

The Gospel Choir of Antioch Baptist Church, 110 Funston St., will present “Seven Steps to the Cross” at 4 p.m. April 13.

Ministers Darlene Wilson, Allan Jennings, Rhonda Ware, Felecia Williams, Jim Little, Artis Henderson and Judy Meeks will speak.

Spring conference

CORTLAND

What’s Right What’s Left Ministries will sponsor a spring prophesy conference from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Jericho Center, 2878 Warren-Meadville Road, and from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday at Big Creek Park, 9160 Robinson Road, Chardon.

Speakers will be Pastors Ernie Sanders, Dave Natale and Dale Henkel, chaplain John McTernan and David Onysko, Dan Hromada and Franklin Shannon.

Women of His Vision

CANFIELD

Women of His Vision will meet from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. next Saturday at Piccadilly Parlour Victorian Tea Room, 114 S. Broad St.

There will be a speaker and worship.

The group plans the annual Women’s Rally in the Valley.

Gospel singer

SHARON, PA.

Jonathan White, gospel singer, will perform at 11 a.m. Sunday at Cedar Avenue Bible Church, 664 Cedar Ave.

Retreat set

SANDY LAKE, PA.

Christian Women’s Outreach of Mercer County will sponsor a retreat April 25 and 26 at McKeever Environmental Learning Center, State Route 358, with guest speaker Tammy Smith from Columbus, Ohio.
