Museum to honor class of docents


The Butler Institute of American Art’s docent education class of 2013-14 will be honored at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the museum’s auditorium.

Docents are volunteer guides who lead more than 30,000 people through the museum each year.

This year’s class includes: Sharon Diehl, Farmdale; Anne Gardner, Boardman; Roberta Grantz, Hubbard; Iris Guglucello, Youngstown; Gunther Lange, Youngstown; Jody Nudell, Girard; Susan Rowley, Farmdale; Fred Schuster, North Lima; Barbara Snider, Canfield; Lois Starcher, Girard; Sharon Tamp, Brookfield; and Martha Young, Cortland.

Toby Keith and Rascal Flatts tickets

Two country music concerts were announced Friday by LiveNation.

Toby Keith, with Cold Ford and Krystal Keith, will come to First Niagara Pavilion in Burgettstown, Pa., on Aug. 9.

Also, Rascal Flatts, with Sheryl Crow and Gloriana, will come to Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls on Aug. 1.

Tickets for both shows go on sale at 10 a.m. April 11 through Ticketmaster.
