YOUNGSTOWN — A 9-year-old girl is in stable condition at St. Elizabeth Health Center after being hit in the back by a stray bullet just after midnight today as she was doing homework in the dining room of a 24 E. Judson Ave. home on the South Side.

Detectives are investigating, and no arrests have been made in the case.
