EAST LEWISTOWN — The annual Autumn Fest at the Preserve will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Beaver Township Nature Preserve on state Route165.
Admission and activities are free. Refreshments will be sold by the 4-H Club.
The event, sponsored by Beaver Township Park Board, will feature hay rides, pony rides, a petting and other activities.
There will also be several demonstrations and exhibits. A variety of nature-related groups and displays will be featured including the "Birds of Flight" live bird display.
"This really is a great family event," said Scott Conway, township park administrator.
Conway noted that this year's event has expanded and will offer even more activities than past festivals.
