The Williamson College of Business Administration at Youngstown State University will honor recipients of the 2013 WCBA Outstanding Alumni Awards at the 18th annual WCBA Alumni Banquet at 6 p.m. Oct. 18 in Williamson Hall on the YSU campus.

Honorees this year are Donald E. Lewis, 1986, Outstanding Business Alumnus; John “Jack” R. Janoso Jr., MBA, 1990, Outstanding MBA Alumnus; Kevin Owens, 2004, Outstanding Recent Alumnus; and Ryan Pastore, MBA, 2004, Outstanding Recent Alumnus.
The Outstanding Business Alumnus Award will be presented to Lewis, of Youngstown, president of SCA’s Americas Business Unit, responsible for businesses in North and Latin America, which generate more than $2 billion annually in sales. He oversees the operations of 23 manufacturing facilities that employ more than 8,000 in locations from Canada to Chile.
Earlier in his career, Lewis held general business, finance, sales and marketing positions in companies such as Fort Howard Paper Co. in Green Bay, Wis., and Encore Paper in New York. He is a 1986 graduate of YSU and lives with his family in Youngstown.
Janoso, of Poland, president and chief executive officer of Sharon Regional Health System, was named Outstanding MBA Alumnus. He joined the Health System in 1999 as vice president and chief information officer, subsequently assumed responsibilities for Imaging Services and the corporate compliance program, and in 2006 was named vice president of operations, ancillary and support services.
Before Sharon Regional, he served as a vice president/CIO for Visiting Nurse Service & Affiliates, vice president and director at Alliance Community Hospital, a senior consultant at Ernst & Young LLP and as director of information services at Warren General Hospital. Janoso received his bachelor’s and MBA degrees from YSU.
His community involvement includes the Shenango Valley Chamber of Commerce, Penn-Northwest Development Corp., Board of Visitors of YSU’s Bitonte College of Health & Human Services, Shenango Valley YMCA, Youngstown Air Force Reserve Base and Lawrence/Mercer County Workforce Investment.
Owens will be recognized as an Outstanding Recent Alumnus. He serves as the vice president of Higher Education at Turning Technologies in Youngstown. Owens joined Turning Technologies in 2004 as one of the first account executives and members of the company. Under his leadership, the company’s Higher Education sales team has become the industry’s leading provider, developing business with more than half of all U.S. colleges and universities. Owens is a 2004 graduate of YSU.
Pastore, of New Castle, Pa., director of client and community relations and vice president with PNC Financial Services Co., also was chosen as an Outstanding Recent Alumnus. He is responsible for all community relations, sponsorships, charitable giving, local marketing and client entertainment for PNC in the Youngstown Region.
Before joining PNC, he worked as a safety and training specialist for RMI Titanium Co. Pastore was recognized as PNC Corporate Philanthropist of the Year by the Mahoning Valley Association of Fundraising Professionals and was a 40 under 40 nominee with the Mahoning Valley Young Professionals. His community involvement includes Junior Achievement of the Mahoning Valley, the Mahoning Valley College Access Program and Leadership Mahoning Valley. Pastore graduated with an MBA in 2004 and lives in New Castle with his wife and two children.
