Jackknifed tractor-trailer tied up I-80 for 20 minutes today

AUSTINTOWN — A jackknifed tractor-trailer backed up Interstate 80 this morning for about 20 minutes, the Ohio State Highway Patrol reported.

The accident happened at the ramp to state Route 11 south. There were no injuries, and no other vehicle involved, the patrol reported.

There's a bit more to this accident. Why was it jackknifed? Think it had anything to do with this racing 18-wheeler smashing into a car which, along with scores of other vehicles, was stopped on I-80 because of another accident? It was a miracle that the occupants were not killed.
