St. Mark’s will roast lamb and chicken

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The parishioners of St. Mark Orthodox Church, 3560 Logan Way, Liberty, will sponsor a lamb and chicken roast from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday. From left, Muriel Chammas, Cynthia O’Connor, Cheryl Barkett, Renee Rafidi and Amy Rafidi are baking special talame bread for the event. The meal consists of lamb or chicken, rice pilaf, green beans and sauce, hummus dip, salad, talame bread, dessert and coffee. Adult meals are $15 for lamb and $11 for chicken. A la carte items include grape leaves, hot peppers, meat pies, spinach pies, and ethnic and American pastries. Carryout is available. For information call 330-270-9820.
