ASSOCIATIONS

Goldwing Road Riders Association Chapter M will have its monthly gathering Sept. 21 at Yankee Kitchen, 6635 Market St., Boardman. Dinner will be at 5 p.m., and the meeting will begin at 6.

CLUBS

Chapter CE of PEO Sisterhood will meet Wednesday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield for a noon lunch and business meeting. Karen Matthews will speak, and hostesses are Mollie Turner, Betty Whitman and Johanna Nuzzo.

Daughters of the American Revolution, Mahoning Chapter, will meet at noon Monday at A La Cart Catering in Canfield to celebrate Constitution Week. Mahoning Valley Cribbage Club will meet at noon Sept. 20 at St. James Episcopal Church, 7640 Glenwood Ave., Boardman. New players are welcome. For information call 330-757-9503.

Mahoning Valley Retreads will meet Saturday at Denny’s, 4927 Mahoning Ave., Austintown. Breakfast will be at 10 a.m. and the general meeting will follow. That Quilt Group I Belong To will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fair Park in Canfield. Doors will open at 1 p.m. for those who can work on quilts and Christmas stockings. The 7 p.m. meeting topic will be unfinished projects. Members are to take and be ready to describe an unfinished project. The group is open to all interested quilters at all skill levels. American Sewing Guild, Niles Chapter Neighborhood Groups, have scheduled the following meetings: Austintown Stitch and Share, 10 a.m. Thursday at Humility House, 755 Ohltown Road. Croatian Lodge 598 will meet at 12:45 p.m. Sunday in the community room at the post office building, 550 Ohio Ave.

RELIGIOUS GROUPS

The Legion of Mary will have a meeting of the Curia at 12:45 p.m. Monday at Mount Carmel Social Hall. All active and auxiliary members are invited.

St. Benedict’s Auxiliary, which serves the Benedictine Sisters of the Byzantine Catholic Church, will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the social hall at Sts. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 180 Belvedere Ave. NE, Warren. There is no charge for the public. Guest speaker Audrey Hudak’s topic will be “Butterflies.” Refreshments will be served.

St. Rose Quilting Group will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the parish house.

SERVICE CLUBS

Girard-Liberty Kiwanis will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Golf Dome, 1300 N. State St.

Youngstown Kiwanis will meet at noon today at the downtown YMCA. Mahoning County Sheriff Jerry Greene of Boardman will speak. The lunch will cost $8.

SOCIETIES

Ohio Genealogical Society, Mahoning County Chapter, will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Charles Church Ministry Building, 7325 Westview Drive, Boardman. It is handicap accessible. Salem Historical Society will host East Liverpool historian Timothy R. Brookes, who will discuss Depression-era criminal “Pretty Boy” Floyd at its meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Alzheimer Network Family Support Group will meet at the following locations: Tuesday, 6 p.m. at Girard Free Library, 105 E. Prospect St.; Thursday, 6 p.m. at Sunrise Assisted Living, 335 W. Alzheimer’s Association Caregiver Support Group will meet at 2 p.m. Monday at Antonine Sisters Adult Day Center, 2691 N. Lipkey Road, North Jackson.

DBSA of Columbiana County, a group offering peer support to those diagnosed with a mood disorder or who have similarly diagnosed family or friends, will meet as follows: 7 to 9 p.m. today at Bethel Friends Church, 2771 Spitler Road, Poland; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at Help Hotline Community Center, 1344 Fifth Ave., Youngstown; and 5 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Carnegie Public Library, 219 E.
