Salem Public Library will have its semiannual book sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 14 at St. Paul School gym, next to the library at 925 E. State St. The sale, offering a large variety of books, magazines and audio-visual materials, is sponsored by the library’s Memorial Fund.

Relay for Life of Liberty is sponsoring its fourth annual Autumn Festival from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 19 at W.S. Guy Middle School in Liberty. Vendors and crafters are welcome.
