Hats and gloves on for library tea

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR The Friends of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County’s East Branch are planning a Lavendar and Lace Tea from 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 14 at Youngstown East Library, 430 Early Road. The guest speaker, Susan Moorer, Youngstown State University coordinator of P-16 Outreach and Assessment, will present “The Ubiquitous Woman.” Tickets are $15 per person. Make checks payable to Friends of PLYMC. For information and tickets call the library’s development office at 330-740-6096. Those attending should wear their favorite hat and gloves.
