Hanns will mark 65th anniversary at dinner in Fla.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Eugene Hann of Austintown will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary at a dinner at the Legacy Vacation Club in Kissimmee, Fla., in December.

Hosting the event will be their son Gerald (Cynthia) Hann of Buffalo Grove, Ill.

Their children include Donald (Paula) Hann of Sierra Vista, Ariz., and Beverly (James) Suffolk of Kent. The couple have seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

The former Virginia Ruth Paugh married Mr. Hann Sept. 7, 1948, at Four Mile Run Christian Church.

Mrs. Hann was head of Austintown Public Schools lunch program from 1961 to 1971, serving seven schools, and she designed the Fitch High School cafeteria. She retired March 31, 1986, from St. Elizabeth Hospital, where she was a registered dietitian.

She attends Smith Corners United Methodist Church and Dundee Baptist Church, Dundee, Fla. She has been a member of the 500 Bid Card Club for more than 60 years and is a member of the School Employees Retirement System of Ohio. She also worked for the Lordstown Ordnance Depot, shipping tools overseas to the Army in 1944.

Mr. Hann retired March 31, 1986, as district foreman from East Ohio Gas in North Jackson, where he worked for 41 years. He attends Dundee Baptist Church. He has been a member of New Middletown Farmers & Sportsmen Club since 1976, and he is a member of the 500 Bid Card Club. He is a U.S. Army veteran and served as a field clerk for battalion headquarters at Fort Lewis, Wash., and Camp Kilmer, N.J., in 1946 and 1947.
