TODAY

Boar’s Head Ladies of St. John’s Episcopal Church, 323 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will serve a chicken dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the church. The cost is $7. No reservations are necessary. For takeouts or to order ahead call the church at 330-743-3175.

FRIDAY

Bloomfield High School Junior Class will sponsor a fish and shrimp dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria, 2077 Park Road W, North Bloomfield. Fish dinners will cost $5.75 or $6.50 and shrimp dinners will be $6.75. Carryout orders will be available. Call 440-685-4711.

Canfield Lions Club will have a fish fry from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at A La Cart Catering, 429 Lisbon St., Canfield. The cost is $10. Takeout is available; call 330-533-0363.

Christ the Good Shepherd at St. Joseph the Provider Church, 633 Porter Ave., Campbell, will sell potato, prune and kraut pirogi. The cost is $5 a dozen. Phone orders may be made beginning at 8 a.m. at 330-755-1316, and orders can be picked up beginning at noon. Patrons are asked to provide their own containers. No walk-in orders will be available.

Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 11 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders can be picked up from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Dessert will be an additional $1.50. Containers will be provided for takeouts. Orders will be accepted from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at 330-792-1005.

Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church Hall, 526 W. Rayen Ave., will sell potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 a dozen. Orders should be placed from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday or 9:30 to 11 Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Friday. Hot lunches will be available at 11 a.m.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato with cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. The cost is $6 per dozen. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday; no containers are necessary. Walk-ins are welcome. Patrons are asked to use the side entrance.

St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.50 a dozen. Orders can be called to 330-542-3525 from 7 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. Walk-ins are welcome.

St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, will sell potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and 8 to 11 Friday, based upon availability. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Walk-in orders are welcome. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday.

Tod Avenue United Methodist Church, 155 Tod Ave. NW, Warren, will serve an all-you-can-eat fish dinner from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Meatloaf also will be available. Cost is $10 for adults and $3 for children 4 to 11; those 3 and under eat free.

SATURDAY

Berlin Ellsworth Ruritans will serve a Swiss steak supper from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Western Reserve High School on state Route 224 in Berlin Center. The cost is $10 in advance and $11 at the door. Tickets for children 4 to 10 are $5; those 3 and under eat for free. Tickets can be purchased from any Ruritan member, at Denny’s Auto Supply, 6999 S. Pricetown Road, Berlin Center, or by calling 330-547-4027. The dinner is family style and is all you can eat. There also will be a homemade baking contest before the dinner. Bessemer Presbyterian Church, 29 N. Main St., will serve sit-down or takeout beef tips and noodles dinners from 5 to 7 p.m. at a cost of $10 for adults and $5 for children 6 to 12; meals are free for those 5 and under. Call the church office for tickets at 724-667-7255.

Calvary Baptist Church, 1463 Shields Road, Youngstown, will serve a spaghetti dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $7, and children’s are $3.

Good Hope Lutheran Church, 12030 Market St., North Lima, will serve its 29th annual kielbasa and sauerkraut dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Takeout will be available. Adult tickets cost $8.50, and children’s are $4; those under 6 eat for free. For information or to register call the church office at 330-549-2406.

Lordstown Christian Church will host a turkey dinner with all the trimmings from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Lordstown Administration Building, 1455 Salt Springs Road. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for 12 and under. Carryouts are available.

Lowellville United Methodist Church, 190 W. Wood St., will serve a sit-down or takeout chicken and biscuit dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Cost is $8 for adults and $4 for children.

New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., Niles, will serve a turkey dinner with all the trimmings from 4 to 6:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 5 to 12; 4 and under will eat for free.

Pricetown Church will serve its annual all-you-can-eat turkey dinner buffet from 4 to 7 p.m. at Newton Falls High School, 907 Milton Blvd. S., Newton Falls. The cost is $9 for adults and $5 for children 5 to 12; those 4 and under eat for free. Carryouts will be available.

Sharon First United Methodist Church, 237 W. Silver St., Sharon, Pa., will host a chicken pie dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Adult tickets are $7.50, and for children 12 and under they are $3.50. Takeouts will be available.

St. Andrewes AME Church, 521 W. Earle Ave., Youngstown, is preparing for its annual spaghetti dinner from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost for the dinner is $8. Meals are sit-down or carryout. For information call the church office at 330-783-3242 or 330-788-0990.

Vienna United Methodist Church, 4265 Warren-Sharon Road, is serving a Swiss steak dinner from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Takeouts will be available. Cost is $9 for adults and $4 for children 5 to 12. Those 4 and under eat free.

SUNDAY

Croatian Center, 3200 Vestal Road, Youngstown, is offering a chicken noodle soup and chicken dinner from noon to 4 p.m. Adult tickets are $11 plus tax, and children’s tickets are $5.50 plus tax for those 10 and under. Reservations are needed; call 330-792-5414.

Hospice of the Valley volunteers are sponsoring a pancake breakfast fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at St. Dominic Parish Hall, 77 E. Lucius Ave. Proceeds benefit Hospice of the Valley volunteer projects. Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for children 6 to 18 and free for children 5 and under, and are available from HOV volunteers or at the door. For information call Rosemary Antonucci at 330-788-1992.

Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, will serve a spaghetti dinner from noon to 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children 12 and under. Takeouts will be available.

Springfield Township EMS Auxiliary Association will host a beef tips and noodles dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Paul Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown. Donations are welcome. Takeouts are available.

St. Patrick Church, 1420 Oak Hill Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor its Sauce and Songs with a spaghetti dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the social hall. The cost is $7 for adults and $3.50 for children 8 and under. Carryouts will be available, and containers will be provided. A concert at 2 p.m. will feature Rino Angelini. St. Stephen of Hungary Church, Holy Apostles Parish, 854 Wilson Ave., Youngstown, will sponsor a pancake, egg and sausage breakfast from 9 to 11:30 a.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for children; those 6 and under eat free. There also will be a basket auction with drawings beginning at 11:30. Drawing tickets are $5 for 26 tickets. Winners do not need to be present to win.

Sulmona Valley Club, 92 S. Bridge St., Struthers, will sponsor a spaghetti dinner from noon to 4 p.m. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children. Carryouts are available.

Vincent United Methodist Church, Walnut Street, Jackson Center, Pa., will serve a ham loaf dinner from 12:30 p.m. until gone. Adult dinners cost $8, and children 10 and under, $4.

MONDAY

Canfield United Methodist Church, 27 S. Broad St., will have its 73rd annual turkey dinner. The dinner will be served family style with all the trimmings. Seatings will be at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Prices are $12 for adults and $6 for children under 10. Drive-through carryout dinners also are available. Call 330-533-9801 for information.

TUESDAY

Coalburg United Methodist Church, 1906 Wick-Campbell Road, Hubbard, will sponsor a Swiss steak dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets for adults cost $8, and for children, $4. A bake sale will be available for dessert. Takeouts will be available.

Lord of Life Lutheran Church will sponsor its spaghetti dinner from 4:30 to 8 p.m. at Canfield High School cafeteria, 100 Cardinal Drive. Tickets cost $7.50 for adults and $4 for students; children 5 and under eat for free.
