UPDATE: Taemarr Walker's brother caught in Texas in Saturday homicide
Tashawn Walker, the brother of Taemarr Walker, was arrested at 12::50 p.m. today in Baytown, Texas, and charged in the murder of Richard Rollison IV.
A murder warrant was issued for Tashawn Walker, 26, addresses in Girard, Warren and Texas,in the death of Rollison, 24, early Saturday in Warren.
The warrant was issued Saturday, the same day Rollison was shot to death at the Sunoco gas station at 805 W. Market St. near Tod Avenue Southwest.
Warren police were tight-lipped about the Rollison shooting over the weekend, but Rollison’s father, Richard Rollison, III, told The Vindicator on Sunday his son told him as he waited for an ambulance to take him to the hospital that the shooting was related to the death of Tashawn Walker’s brother, Taemarr Walker, one week earlier.
Warren Police also released a police report this morning indicating Tashawn Walker is a suspect in the killing.
The report gives Tashawn an address in Baytown, Texas. He has also had addresses on East Liberty Street in Girard and Draper Street in Warren.
The report says Rollison, of Royal Mall Drive in Niles, was killed in a 12:54 a.m. shooting at the gas station. It says Rollison was found lying in the gas station parking lot.
Taemarr Walker was killed by a Warren police officer in a confrontation on Risher Road Southwest near Palmyra Road on Oct. 19.
