The Ohio Department of Transportation is continuing with some road projects and finishing others in Mahoning County.

In Boardman, Tiffany Boulevard on the north side of U.S. Route 224 will be closed starting Wednesday through early November for pavement reconstruction. The detour will be Route 224 to South Avenue to Doral Drive.

Motorists who use the Interstate 680 southbound ramp to Route 224 west will use a new traffic pattern. They will stop at the intersection of Route 224 before making a right turn.

The ramp from I-680 north to Route 224 is closed through late October. The detour is Western Reserve Road to South Avenue.

Route 224 between I-680 and Tiffany Boulevard is reduced to one lane in each direction for roadway widening and interchange modifications. Motorists should expect delays in this area.

The entire project is scheduled for completion by late this month.

In Coitsville and Campbell, U.S. Route 422 between state Route 616 and Struthers-Liberty Road should be reopened by today.

In Youngstown, Elm Street between Saranac Avenue and Tod Lane is closed through mid-November for a bridge replacement. The detour is Gypsy Lane to Fifth Avenue to Broadway Street.

In Beaver Township, these lane restrictions are in place through early November: State Route 46 under state Route 11 is reduced to one lane for bridge painting. Route 11 over Calla Road and Route 11 over Route 46 have daily lane restrictions for bridge deck replacements.

In Green Township, Route 46 between Cook Road and West Middletown Road has lane restrictions for roadway widening.

In Canfield Township, Route 46 between Western Reserve Road and Leffingwell Road is closed through mid-November for a bridge replacement. The detour is Route 11 to Route 224 to state Route 46/U.S. Route 62.

In the city of Canfield, two routes have lane restrictions for resurfacing: Route 224 from Route 62 to Talsman Drive; and Route 62 from Callahan Road to Scott Street.

In Berlin Township, Route 224 between the Portage County line and state Route 534 has daily lane restrictions for resurfacing.
