Today’s entertainment picks:

v “Tribunal,” 7:30 p.m.: Premiere of Youngstown native Mark Kessler’s play that is set in the aftermath of World War II with the Nuremburg Trials as a backdrop. Presented by Youngstown State University Theater at Spotlight Arena Theater, inside Bliss Hall; 3309-941-3105.

v “Living Dead: The Musical,” 8 p.m.: Rust Belt Theater’s original zombie musical comedy is back and bigger than ever. It’s at Calvin Center, 755 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown; 330-507-2358.

v “Talley’s Folly,” 7:30 p.m.: Opening night for this charming tale of love. It’s in the Moyer Room of the Youngstown Playhouse; 330-788-8739.

“Shark Tank” (9 p.m., ABC): You just never know what’s going to get pitched on “Shark Tank.” Tonight, a couple of guys from North Carolina have a bright idea for a goat-renting service to help people remove weeds from their lawns.

“Great Performances” (9 p.m., PBS): Julie Andrews, Josh Groban, Audra McDonald and others celebrate the program’s 40th anniversary from Lincoln Center.

Film festival reveals winners

YOUNGSTOWN

The winner of the Youngstown Film Festival’s Best of the Fest award is “The Great Incarcerator, Part 2: The Shadow of Lucasville,” directed by Derrick Jones and produced by Urban Nu-sense Films.

The Audience Selection award went to “Valiant,” a short directed by Jonathan Chiarle.

The festival was held last weekend.

Theater offers ‘Sleepy Hollow’

Boardman

AfterSchool Arts youth theater troupe will present “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow” at 8 p.m. Oct. 25 and 26, and Nov. 1 at the Garage Theater, 7206 Market St.

Tickets are $15 ($10 for students).

The AfterSchool Players will perform scenes from “Sleepy Hollow” from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the annual Pumpkin Walk at Fellows Riverside Gardens.

The cast includes Johnny George, Brady Bizon, Sophie Salupo, Sarah Meade, Michael Appugliese, Chloe Housteau, Clark Hergenrother, Paige Brockway, Megan Brockway, D’Ella Heschmeyer, Aubri Ezzo, Millie Heschmeyer and Allie Sayhoun.

Lecture on Amish

Sharon, Pa.

William McGuigan, a professor at Penn State Shenango, will present a free public lecture on “A History of Amish and Mennonites: Apart and Together” at 7 p.m. Tuesday in Sharon Hall room 105, Penn Avenue, downtown.
