The Rotary Club of Warren, working with Trumbull Memorial Hospital labs, is offering its annual Fall Blood Analysis program from 7 to 10 a.m. Oct. 26 at SCOPE Inc., 220 West Market St.
No appointment is necessary. Participants must fast (no food, only water) for 12 hours before testing and no alcoholic beverages for 24 hours before testing.
For a cost of $36, participants will receive chemistry and CBC profiles and urine testing.
The chemistry profile tests glucose levels, triglyceride and cholesterol levels including HDL, LDL and VLDL. The CBC profile includes white blood cell count, hemoglobin, hematocrit and platelet. Urine testing provides family physicians important information about possible diabetes, kidney disease or blood.
Representatives from Hillside rehabilitation Hospital and Trumbull Memorial Hospital’s Orthopedics and Breast health will be on hand to provide educational information, said Barry Dunaway, blood analysis program chairman.
