v Youngstown Film Festival, 12:30 p.m.: The documentary film “The Great Incarcerator, Part 2,” which revisits the 1993 inmate uprising at the Lucasville penitentiary, will be screened at 3 p.m. It’s at the DeBartolo Hall auditorium at Youngstown State University. Admission is $10.

Rep. Giffords’ aide to speak at campus

Penn State Shenango will host motivational speaker Daniel Hernandez Jr. at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Penn State Shenango auditorium. Hernandez was an intern for U.S. Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in 2011 when she was shot near Tucson, Ariz. He has been credited for helping to save Giffords’ life.
