The Mosquito Lake Greenway Project is conducting a survey to assess people’s attitude toward the project and a sense of community among the people of the Cortland, Bazetta Township and Mecca Township areas.
The Mosquito Lake Greenway Project proposes to encircle the southern part of Mosquito Lake with a greenway to be used by pedestrians and bicyclists. Plans include connecting to the Western Reserve Greenway a few miles to the west.
“It is our intent to use the results of this survey as a baseline. When we re-survey, we’ll have data on the positive effects our work has had on building community. That data also will help position our project for funding,” said Michael Swiatkwich, founder and chairman of the Mosquito Lake Greenway Project.
