The Lambermont Estate in San Antonio was the setting of the 5 p.m. March 23 exchange of vows between Rachael Marie Madeline and Steven Michael Bower. The Rev. Pamela Bohannan officiated.
Lambermont Estate also served as the setting for the couple’s reception.
Parents of the bride are Kenneth and Rodney Ann Madeline of San Antonio and formerly of Boardman. Bruce and Joy Bower of Prairie Village, Kan., are parents of the groom.
The bride wore a floor length ivory gown with a column silhouette. The gown featured draped fabric at the bodice with asymmetrical peplum, and was accented with an organza flower sash at the waist. The ensemble was completed with a chapel length veil and blusher.
Kelly Miller was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Victoria Berquist, cousin of the bride; Meghan O’Connor; Claudia Dishon; Katy Seals; Ann Flowers Gosser; and Cameron Cox. The groom’s cousin, Leighton Wheeler, was flower girl. The attendants wore coral-colored gowns.
Carson Williams performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen included the groom’s brothers, Curt and Mark Bower; the bride’s brothers, Jason and Ronald Madeline; Jarrad Kallinovich; and Ryan Schkoda.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in fine arts from Ohio University and a master’s degree in fine arts, printmaking from Clemson University. She is an adjunct art professor, teaching painting, art history and art appreciation at Northwest Vista College in San Antonio.
The groom earned a doctorate in mechanical engineering from Clemson. He is a research engineer at Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio.
The couple live in San Antonio.
