A Mahoning County grand jury indicted a West Side couple Thursdayin the shooting death of a man Sept. 28.
Randall Miller, 37, and his wife Megan L. Miller, 36, both of Hazelwood Avenue, were charged for their roles in the death of Frank James Brown, 33, who was found about 3:40 a.m. Sept. 28 dead from a gunshot wound amid a pile of auto glass on South Truesdale Avenue on the East Side.
Randall Miller is charged with murder in Brown’s death. An affidavit for a search warrant for his home in Youngstown Municipal Court said he was planning on having a drink with Brown the night before Brown was found. A car matching one Miller was seen driving earlier was spotted where Brown’s body was dumped.
Megan Miller faces charges of tampering with evidence and obstruction of justice. She is accused of lying to police about work being done on the car to cover up evidence of Brown’s murder.
Police said when they found the car evidence suggested that someone tried to clean it and replace the glass in one of the windows.
