Apple Butter Days will be sponsored by the East Palestine Area Historical Society from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Log Cabin, Bacon Avenue.
Homemade apple butter (sugar and sugar-free) will be sold for $4 per pint. Homemade bean soup, hot dogs and beverages also will be sold.
There will be demonstrations displayed, and local craft vendors will sell their wares.
Volunteers are needed at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the brick pavilion at the East Palestine Park. Take a knife and pans. They also are needed at 6 p.m. Friday at the log cabin to cook the apple butter.
