YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning County Coroner’s office has ruled that Gregory W. Dunn, 54, of Bentwillow Drive in Niles, died of skull fractures and brain injuries in a Sept. 20 bicycle-car accident on North Main Street near West Federal Street.

Dunn was riding a bicycle when he collided with a sport utility vehicle.

Dunn died Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

Niles police will be talking to the Trumbull County prosecutor later this week to determine whether any charges are warranted in the case, said Capt. Ken Criswell of the Niles Police Department.

Dunn worked for St. Elizabeth Health Center as a registered nurse in the Intensive Care Unit and was an avid bicyclist, his obituary said.

He was a husband and father of three.
