Did Obama swap ‘black’ detention sites for ships?

WASHINGTON (AP) - Instead of sending suspected terrorists to Guantanamo Bay or secret CIA “black” sites for interrogation, the Obama administration is questioning terrorists for as long as it takes aboard U.S. naval vessels. And it’s doing it in a way that preserves the government’s ability to ultimately prosecute the suspects in civilian courts.

This from the same gut that condemned water-boarding as torture, but finds no fault with him killing American's with drones.

gdog4766,
An excerpt from a letter from Pres. Barack Hussein Obama's AG Holder to Congress on May 22, 2013:
"Since 2009, the United States, in the conduct of U.S. counterterrorism operations against al-Qaida and its associated forces outside of areas of active hostilities, has specifically targeted and killed one U.S. citizen, Anwar al-Aulaqi. The United States is further aware of three other U.S. citizens who have been killed in such U.S. counterterrorism operations over that same time period: Samir Khan, 'Abd al-Rahman Anwar al-Aulaki and Jude Mohammed. These individuals were not specifically targeted by the United States."

The irony of this is obviously lost on you. I seem to remember Candidate Obama beating the drum during 2008 about how awful the US was under G.W. Bush because we had repeatedly waterboarded three (3!) enemy combatants and had a prison camp in Gitmo where the inmates had a better existence (except for their freedom) than previous. Never mind that we gain valuable intelligence! Now, the inmates MAY have had their due process delayed but the four Americans killed by drones were definitely denied due process.

Confused scumbag!

Let me get this straight 4 American traitors severing with enemy terrorist forces in a foreign country and trying to recruit more American citizens and killed during combat ops. What actual due process were they denied If they were killed during SF ops to capture them would you then want to try them in court for murder???

The old wrench
Why is it that if a Republican President that allows a gallon of water to be poured on an enemy terrorists head it is evil, but if a Democrat President blows that same head into a million tiny bits it is a great thing?

gdog4766 maybe you or one of your fellow "Demagoguecrats" can answer that very simple question.
