Shepherd of the Valley is collecting worn flags

Published: Sun, October 6, 2013 @ 1:07 p.m.

POLAND

Shepherd of the Valley-Poland, 301 W. Western Reserve Road, is collecting old, torn and faded American flags during the month of October.

Flags can be dropped off between 8:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. daily. Most flags are not retired with the ceremony they deserve, and Shepherd hopes to change that.

Flags will be delivered to a local veteran’s group for proper disposal.

For information contact Elida Cowles, marketing-admissions director, at 330-726-7110, ext. 0, or ecowles@ShepherdoftheValley.com.
