Free family days at the Butler Institute of American Art, 524 Wick Ave., will begin this month.
Butler docents will share a story in the museum’s galleries, followed by an art activity related to the story or to a current museum exhibition.
These programs are for children from preschool through primary grades, accompanied by an adult.
All Wick Ave. programs are at 1:30 p.m. Sundays, Oct. 20 and Nov. 17, and next year, Jan. 19, Feb. 16, March 16 and April 27.
Free family days at the Butler in Howland also will begin and will be presented in conjunction with Howland branch of the Warren-Trumbull County Public Library.
Children age 10 and younger, accompanied by an adult, will listen to a story by the Howland branch’s children’s librarian, followed by an art activity presented by a Butler docent.
All Howland programs will be at 2 p.m. Saturdays, Oct. 19 and Nov. 16, and next year, Jan. 18, Feb. 15, March 15 and April 19.
