Boardman United Methodist Church was the setting of the March 23 wedding of Jenna Smith of Canfield and Kevin Fantone of East Liverpool. The Rev. Ash Welch officiated at the 3:30 p.m. ceremony. A reception honored the couple at Avion on the Water in Canfield.
The bride is the daughter of Ralph and Deborah Smith of Canfield. James Fantone of East Liverpool and the late Kathleen Fantone are the parents of the groom.
The bride wore an ivory crystal organza and satin strapless gown with a beaded bodice completed with an embroidered hemline extending onto the semicathedral train. She wore a beaded veil that complemented her gown.
The bride’s sister, Ashley Smith, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Abbie Bardon, Claudia Kovach, Kim Varley, Ashley McNear and Rachel Schiele. The attendants wore eggplant-colored gowns.
The groom’s brother, Adam Fantone, performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Andrew Wasko, Gary Althiser, Ryan Campbell, Matt Tenzek and Rocco Longo.
The bride earned a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and a master’s degree as a reading specialist, both from Youngstown State University. She is a second-grade teacher for Beaver Schools.
The groom earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from YSU and a master’s degree in early childhood education from Franciscan University. He is a kindergarten teacher at Beaver Schools.
After a wedding trip to Aruba, the couple reside in Boardman.
