Canfield youth boys Skills Academy

The Canfield Boys Basketball coach staff will be hosting the fourth annual Skills Academy for all fourth-, fifth-, and sixth-grade boys interested in playing basketball for the 2013-14 season. The first two nights of the academy will be Nov. 4 and 6 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Canfield Village Middle School. For a full schedule of the academy, go to

The cost of the Skills Academy will be $30. To register, email Todd Muckleroy at with following information: Name of participant and current grade level, names of parent/guardians, cell phone numbers of parents/guardians and shirt size and preferred number on the jersey.

Boys soccer defeats Poland

Senior Brady Clark led the Canfield High School boys soccer team to a 2-1 victory over the Poland Bulldogs. Outstanding games were had by the defensive squad from both teams. Canfield’s record improves to 4-3-2, and Poland’s record is 6-3-1. Both teams are members if the All American Soccer Conference.
