Man arrested in severe beating of girlfriend

YOUNGSTOWN

Police arrested a man at his mother’s North Side home about 2 a.m. today, accused of severely beating his estranged girlfriend.

Kevin Theodore, 29, is expected to be arraigned in Youngstown Municipal Court today on the charges of felonious assault, violation of a protection order and a warrant.

Police were called to St. Elizabeth Health Center, where the victim told them Theodore visited her at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at her home in the 3500 block of Southern Boulevard and beat her during an argument.

The victim said she was unconscious for a brief period and when she woke up Theodore threatened to kill her if she called police.

She told police she was afraid to call them but family members took her to the hospital and talked her into filing charges, reports said. Reports said the victim had internal injuries, a possible concussion and a severely broken nose.

Theodore was found sleeping at his mother’s house on Carlotta Avenue. A records check revealed his mother has a protection order against him banning him from her house, so the protection order charge was added.

He "severely" broke her nose. Big tough guy will find out in jail how sissy that is. Maybe he'll get a nose for a nose.

Wow, even his own mother had a restraining order on him. Sounds like a total piece of trash.

there was a recent story in the news about a woman who had an animal for a husband who beat her a lot. one day as he was getting ready to beat her again, she got a gun and fired a "warning shot" in the ceiling and guess what happened. did the animal go to prison? no. this poor woman got 20 years in prison for firing a warning shot in the ceiling and never shot the animal. what the hell is going on in this country when these abusers can get away with this stuff? any woman who is being beaten by a man should be allowed to take her gun and shoot and kill them. men who beat women don't deserve to be on the planet. and I agree with the person who said she or someone of her choosing should be allowed to take a bat to him for at leas 15 minutes. and he would be tied up and stationary.
