Brothers arrested, face charges
A pair of South Side brothers were arrested on warrants at their home in the 1900 block of Summer Street about 8:45 a.m. Sunday.
Officers arrived at the home to serve a warrant for 19-year-old Wolfgang Green on a charge of aggravated menacing and found him lying in a bed upstairs, reports said. Officers saw Green move his arms underneath the covers and when they peeled the covers back, they found a loaded .357-caliber revolver next to him. Also in the room was a lock box with a gun inside, reports said. Green faces an additional count of being a felon in possession of a gun.
Delord Green, 20, also was wanted on a warrant and was standing by a side door that he slammed in an officer’s face after his brother was arrested. He ran throughout the home to the roof, where he was talked down after a short time. Besides the warrant for aggravated menacing, he had a charge of obstruction of justice added. Both were taken to the Mahoning County jail.
